Vote Kari Dillon

for LTHS Board 204

I’m Kari Dillon, current Board President of Lyons Township High School District 204. Leading the district during the pandemic was a challenge unlike any other. It required a strong focus on resilience, as well as empathetic leadership to support students, families, faculty, and staff through a time of uncertainty and change.

Despite the challenges, the pandemic also presented opportunities for LT to innovate and streamline processes. Along with our dedicated school board and LT's amazing staff and faculty, we emerged stronger on the other side. But our work is not done…

When I ran for the board in 2019, I wanted to make our school a place where each and every student realizes their potential – where they feel they belong.

This is the same reason I am running today.

About Me

I've worked in strategic marketing for higher education and non-profits for more than 25 years and I am an active volunteer in our community. I have two children, a graduate of LTHS and a current student and have lived in the district for 10 years.

As a board member, I know it takes patience, collaboration and an open mind to get the job done. It also takes a balanced perspective to ensure our priorities align with and protect our students and families. And it takes dedication to see it through.
